Danny Clegg is an Autistic-ADHD, Dyslexic Associate Professor of Inclusive Practice and Digital Pedagogy, and Associate Dean of Academic Development at BPP University, actively championing Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI). He chairs NHS England’s Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) forums, is a National Association of Disabled Practitioners (NADP) member, and co-founded Autistic Scholars International (ASI) in 2023.

A specialist in inclusive research methodologies, Danny has pioneered focus group protocols ensuring accessibility for deaf and blind participants and developed risk and distress policies that serve as national templates. His projects centre on minoritised voices, training individuals in research design, facilitation, and analysis. He integrates AI-driven qualitative analysis, supplementing it with manual tagging and human-led methods.

Danny’s decolonisation and EDI research has shaped national training programmes. His AI-integrated assessment design was recognised by QAA as the only model balancing high sustainability and integrity. He leads London Higher Education Group (LHEG) projects, including a virtual world for graduate transitions, now of national NHS interest. His Neurodiversity framework, developed for NHS England, was adopted in 2024.

His Diverse Dermatology resource, commissioned for the Welsh Anti-Racist Virtual World, earned national acclaim. From 2019-25, he chaired LSBU’s Disability Network (DNet), and has been part of the BPP Accessibility Network since joining in 2025, advocating for disabled students and staff equity.
