DSA Feedback
NADP represents practitioners at a monthly Disabled Students Allowance (DSA) Operations Group meeting with Student Loans Company (SLC) and other relevant bodies. The purpose of this meeting is to provide a forum for practitioners to:
- provide feedback and insights on the DSA customer journey.
- highlight any emerging or potentially systemic issues or concerns in the sector relating to the operational delivery of DSA.
- create a feedback loop between practitioner organisations and SLC to support the running of the DSA service.
In order for us to share your concerns or share your feedback with the DSA Operations Group, please complete the form below. This form is designed for NADP members, however we will pass on information provided by non-members to the DSA Operations Group and other relevant bodies concerned with the operation of the DSA where appropriate.
NADP can raise:
- Any DSA Student Finance England or Student Finance Wales issue that has gone through the DSA complaints process.
- Any issue for which the DSA complaints process has not been correctly followed.
- Any sector wide, regional, general or repeated issues.
If you are unsure if you meet the criteria above, please complete the form and we will contact you if we have been unable to raise your issue or concern.
The SLC complaints procedure can be found on their website.
When completing this form to raise a student’s case, please do not share the students’ name or date of birth, we will only use the CRN to raise their case. Every student should have a unique CRN that can be found at the top of any correspondence or via their Student Finance Portal. Please obtain the student’s consent before sharing their CRN and please provide the student with a copy of the completed form. Following your submission, if your student wishes to supplement the information provided in the form, they can do so by corresponding directly with the relevant body or via NADP. Should we need more information we will contact you using the details you provide on this form. We will share any feedback with the named representative on the form and it is likely that the DSA team will contact the student directly should any action be necessary.
This form contains both optional and required fields. Please provide as much information as you can as this will help us to raise your concern and understand any wider, more general sector issues. We will also use the information you provide to track themes, regional issues and trends which we will share with SLC, relevant bodies concerned with the operations of DSA and our membership. By completing this form you accept that your data will be used in this way. Your data will be stored securely and retained for no longer than 5 years.
Thank you for your feedback. If you have any questions or problems with this form please email admin@nadp-uk.org.
