The focus of the NADP Annual Conference in 2017 is ‘DSA and Non-DSA: A Year of Adaption.
Our vision is that this conference will inspire and enable people to work together to discover and deliver positive and inclusive support solutions that can enhance our university communities. We will bring together the people who will deliver action on the ground – from university academics, disability support professionals, individual support personnel and assessment centres – to share knowledge, ideas and experience.
Searching for an accessible new venue this year, we found Hinckley Island Hotel in Leicestershire. This venue is 22.4 miles from Birmingham and close to the M1, M6 and M69, making it easily accessible from all parts of the country. Hinckley Island features free Wi-Fi and free private parking available on site with Birmingham Airport only 16.8 miles from the property. Hinckley has a local railway station and the venue have offered to run a shuttle bus to and from this station on the first morning and last evening of the conference. It is also possible to travel by taxi from Rugby station.
The one-day package covers all conference sessions on one day, refreshment breaks and lunch.
Member: £170 Early bird rate; £195 Normal rate
Non-member: £200 Early bird rate; £225 Normal rate
Plus £30 extra for Gala Dinner
Full Conference Package
The full two-day package covers all conference sessions on both days, accommodation on the night of Thursday 29th June (inc. breakfast), refreshment breaks, lunches and gala dinner.
Member: £400 Early Bird rate; £435 Normal rate
Non-member: £440 Early Bird rate; £475 Normal rate
It is also possible to book the night prior to the conference for an extra £130
