NADP Awards 2025
This year we are proud to recognise three exceptional professionals for the Annual NADP Awards. Their work exemplifies leadership, integrity, and impact in disability support and inclusive education in a way that stood out from the rest of the nominations – which is saying something!
Award Winners

Deb Viney Award for an Individual Disability or Inclusivity Practitioner
Carys Kennedy, University of the Arts London
Carys was recognised as a champion for the rights of disabled students and staff – someone driving real change both within and beyond her formal role. Now working in educational development, Carys has expanded inclusive staff training at her institution, contributed to national networks, and shared original research across the sector. Her nominator wrote: “When presented with challenges, we ask ourselves, ‘What would Carys do?’”
Disability and Inclusivity Award for a Service or Team
The University of Law, Disability & Inclusion Team.
This team bowled us over with their scale, innovation, and deep commitment to personalised support, even while operating across 20+ campuses! They not only model inclusive practice internally, but also contribute to national initiatives and produce research that informs policy and practice, including new evidence pathway and benchmarking work.
NADP Lifetime Achievement Award
Lesley Morrice
Lesley’s career spans more than 20 years of sector-wide leadership, advocacy, and unwavering dedication. As Access Centre Manager at the University of Nottingham, she ensured high standards and compassionate practice in DSA needs assessments. Beyond her institution, Lesley played a key role in shaping national policy and best practice through her work with organisations including the NNAC, DSSG, and DSA-QAG. Her leadership and legacy continues through the professionals and students she inspired.
