Access Assessment Centres
Supporting Disabled Students and Apprentices in Higher Education and the Workplace
Part of the Sight and Sound Group
Access Assessment Centre has a long-standing reputation for delivering high-quality, person-centred Study Needs Assessments. Our assessors have extensive experience supporting students with a wide range of disabilities and learning needs, across all levels of higher education—including apprenticeships, placements and work-based learning.
As one of the largest providers of Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA) Study Needs Assessments in the UK, Access Assessment Centres (AACL) combines scale, speed, and service. We are experts in delivering assessments to rigorous KPIs—without compromising the personalised support that disabled students and apprentices deserve.
We work in partnership with higher education institutions across the UK to deliver high-quality assessments for students who are either not eligible for, or unable to access, DSA funding. Whether funded internally, externally, or through apprenticeships, we ensure all students receive the support they need to thrive.
Whether you require a comprehensive, end-to-end service or focused input on specific areas, our flexible and responsive approach helps institutions meet their duties under the Equality Act 2010 while improving outcomes for students.
