Categories of Membership or Association with NADP

Following a carefully considered review of our accounts, and benchmarking NADP fees against similar sector membership organisation, the Board have agreed to increase membership fees, to be effective from April 2019 onwards.

The purpose is to ensure a strong financial base and ensure an increasing quality offer for our membership over the forthcoming year, noting that annual NADP membership fees have not received an increase since April 2017.

Full Membership – Individual

Full individual membership is open to all specialist staff who support disabled students and staff and/or work towards inclusivity in tertiary education. Retired members consist of those members who have previously worked with this sector and who wish to stay in contact and support the association. International membership is open to those members working outside of the UK and Europe. This membership is for one individual and is non-transferable.

Benefits

  • One vote
  • Eligible to stand for any elected office within NADP
  • One access to the JISCMail support network
  • One access to the subscribers’ area of the website
  • Ability to access the NADP Accreditation Scheme (when re-introduced)
  • Accredited members have the opportunity to be listed on the NADP website
  • Reduced rate of entry to NADP events and conferences

Membership fees:

  • Full individual membership for UK and EU £90 per annum (£100 from 1st April 2019)
  • Retired membership £50 per annum (no change)
  • International membership £50 per annum (no change)

Join NADP as an full member – individual

Full Membership – Educational Institutions and Not-for-Profit/Charitable Organisations

Includes colleges, universities, not-for-profit educational companies and education charities provided they fit the definition for membership.

Full educational membership covers a set number of named individuals employed by the member organisation. Each named place is open to all specialist staff who support disabled students and staff and/or work towards inclusivity in tertiary education.

Benefits

  • One vote per named individual on the membership
  • All named individuals are eligible to stand for any elected office within NADP
  • One access per named individual to the JISCMail support network
  • One access for the Head of Disability Service in each HEI to the JISCMail Heads of Service support network
  • One access per named individual to the subscribers’ area of the website
  • All named individuals may access the NADP Accreditation Scheme (when available)
  • All named individuals are entitled to a reduced rate of entry to NADP events and conferences
  • The member organisation can vary the designated individuals as required.
  • Ability to access the NADP Service Accreditation Scheme (when available)
  • All member universities will be listed on the NADP website

Membership fees:

  • Up to two named members £150 per annum (£75 per person per year) – £165 per annum from 1st April 2019
  • Up to five named members £290 per annum (£58 per person per year) – £319 per annum from 1st April 2019
  • Up to ten named members £500 per annum (£50 per person per year) – £550 per annum from 1st April 2019
  • Up to fifteen named members £650 per annum (£43 per person per year) – £715 per annum from 1st April 2019
  • Up to twenty named members £750 per annum (£37.50 per person per year) – £825 per annum from 1st April 2019
  • Over twenty named members £750 plus £10 per extra member – £825 plus £10 per extra member per annum from 1st April 2019

Join NADP as a full member – educational and not-for-profit organisations

 Association with NADP

Association is open to businesses and commercial enterprises who support NADP’s mission statement; who deliver goods or services to those in the tertiary sector; and who operate on a for-profit basis.

Association with NADP covers a set number of named individuals employed by the associated organisation.

Benefits

  • One access per named individual to the JISCMail support network
  • One access per named individual to the subscribers’ area of the website
  • All named individuals may access the NADP Accreditation Scheme if they are working directly with disabled students or disabled staff at the tertiary level (when available)
  • All named individuals are entitled to a reduced rate of entry to NADP events and conferences
  • Reduced rate for sponsorship opportunities such as exhibitors stalls at conference
  • The associate organisation can vary the designated individuals as required.

Notes:

  • Associates are not considered members of NADP
  • Associates do not have the ability to vote
  • Associates are not eligible to stand for any elected office within NADP although they may be invited to advise the Board of Directors on specific items of interest

Associate Fees:

  • Individual £140 (£154 per annum from 1st April 2019)
  • Up to two named associates £250 (£275 per annum from 1st April 2019)
  • Up to five named associates £500 (£550 – per annum from 1st April 2019)
  • Up to ten named associates £750 (£825 per annum from 1st April 2019)
  • Up to fifteen named associates £1000 (£1,100 per annum from 1st April 2019)
