Elections to the Board of Directors of the National Association of Disability Practitioners 2019

How can I stand for election to the NADP board?

There are up to 14 members of the NADP Board, and there are regular annual vacancies as terms of office come to an end. Anyone who is a full member either individually or from an educational organisation (but not associates) can stand for election to the NADP board.

In some years there will be more nominations than vacancies and an online vote of the membership will be held.

You don’t have to hold a senior position in a disability service, but it is essential that you have demonstrable and practical experience of working in a disability-related field.

Please read the Policies and Procedures regarding NADP Board Members (Directors) before making your application. You may also wish to find out more about the role from Lynn, our Operations Manager, or one of our directors. Please email or ring the office to organise an informal chat.

Board elections in 2019

The deadline for Board submissions is Midnight on Friday 10th May 2019.

A full list of candidates will be made available after the deadline has passed and, if necessary, voting will take place via the members’ area of the website so that the Board can be confirmed at the AGM which is held in June.

Who can vote?

All full members of NADP have the right to vote. Associates do not have a vote.

We send all correspondence regarding the AGM, including any motions, resolutions or amendments, to the JISCMail list and also announce them on the news section of the website.
