DfES SpLDs working party papers

These papers are the final output in 2005 from a working party convened by the Department for Education and Skills (DfES) specifically to look at issues around specific learning difficulties in Higher Education. The group was led by Chris Singleton, who had led on dyslexia and related issues on previous occasions.

The papers contain certain recommendations to the DfES / LEAs and others about the DSAs process, diagnosis of SpLDs, qualifications of those who are permitted to diagnose, which tests are suitable for this, what should be in the report and so on. Those recommendations will come into effect over the next year or two.
